I have put all of my electronic items on power strips which I turn off every morning before I leave for work. It wreaks havoc on the cable guide, but it's a small price to pay.
I started recycling at work. I have a box in my office and now everyone puts their print outs and old catalogs in there and I bring it home to recycle it once a week.
I do a lot more than just ONE thing, I recycle everything I can... I even hauled bags of recyclables home from a family vacation in another state so none of our stuff was thrown away. I turn out lights whenever I can. I bought cooking pans called Green Pans that are better for the environment (Crate and Barrel, look them up!). I buy organic food, reuse bags, minimize waste. I'm not always perfect but I hope that all of these efforts help make up for where I lack.
My one thing is to NOT leave the Television on for the Dog while I am gone during the day! He likes ESPN and ANIMAL PLANET, but he doesn't get to watch TV while I am not home anymore!
My one thing is to sign up for the Opt-Out list on http://www.yellowpagesgoesgreen.org to stop recieving phonebooks. Although I recycled when I did get them, it's still better to never have it produced in the first place.

My one thing is that my son and I recycle paper, plastic, aluminum cans and tin cans. He had to do a recycling project for Cub Scouts and it just stuck!! By doing this it has taken the trash we put out on the curb to only two bags instead of 4-5.

I recycle at home, at work, even when we are out driving and shopping. I recycle everything from the toilet paper roll to our milk jugs. We buy organic, I wash in cold water, turn out all the lights when not in use and even buy energy saving bulbs and place them in all my light outlets. I am working on buying a HYBRID to help w/ car pollution.

I use AMSOIL 100% Fully Synthetic oil in all my cars, ATVs and grass mowers. Cars are on 12,000 & 25,000 mile intervals. The Oil companies are not only guilty of gouging us at the gas pumps, they also are behind the promoting of auto oil changes of 3,000 miles. when in fact 7,500 & 12,000 mile intervals are very doable with 100% Fully Synthetic oil. So we are dumping more oil in the environment and they profit by the more frequent changes.

I bought reusable containers for our lunches so we don't use new plastic bags everyday for sandwiches, chips, etc. I reuse our plastic silverware that we get at fast food places. I also recycle my newspapers.

Uses cold water only to wash clothes. Recycles glass/cardboard through Ripple Glass and cardboard through work/church group. We also use CFL bulbs in almost every one of our lights in our home. Usually we only have 1 light on per night, and trust me we can see fine that way.
What else do we do.....hmmmmm. WE LOVE TO BE GREEN, and GREEN IS GOOD, very very tasty too.
